Does my child need a diagnosis to access services?
No. If you are concerned with your child's development, you can access services through the BWF. While it is important to see a doctor about your concerns, it can take up to six months to get an appointment with a developmental pediatrician. This valuable time that could be spent in therapy. We encourage you to seek therapy as soon as you feel there is a problem in your child's development.
